Cascumpec, PEI

Here's a few photos i took in Cascumpec the other day.
The house below is center gable style - this style was popular in the mid 1800's.  The verandah was likely added later.
 The house has narrow paired four-over-four windows on the north/front side of the house.
Behind this house is a well cover - years ago many homes had their dug wells covered for safety and safety of the well water.
 Just up the road is the Cascumpec United Church - services are held here in summers.
This little church has much detailing from the trapezoid transoms to the wrought-iron steeple top.
