I went to my parents in Alma for the Holidays. As mentioned previous in this blog, they live in the house my great-great-grandfather built in the late 1860's. My parents take very good care of the place and often hear the comment, "
it's such a nice place". Last summer a new friend from Scotland visited the homestead for the first time, she said, "
it's a lovely house, it's like something from a storybook".
